About the event
Join Obella Obbo, MS, Registered Psychology Associate, for this engaging workshop exploring how to navigate conflict with empathy, awareness, and cultural humility. He earned a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Maryland. Trained in DBT, REBT, and trauma-informed practice, he integrates clinical expertise with DEI and conflict resolution work across education, nonprofit, and corporate settings. Grounded in culturally responsive and liberation-focused frameworks, Mr. Obbo helps individuals and organizations cultivate authentic dialogue, emotional awareness, and collaborative communication.
Participants will learn evidence-based strategies to foster healthy dialogue between practitioners and clients, within teams, and across organizations. Grounded in trauma-informed and culturally responsive frameworks, this presentation integrates psychological theory, somatic practices, and practical communication tools to support emotional regulation and intentional dialogue.
