Our BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) Queer (LGBTQIA2S+) youth can experience difficult and confusing feelings during adolescence that have the potential to leave them feeling alone and desperate. This group hopes to provide a sense of community among similar aged peers where they can feel safe discussing whatever successes and struggles they have related to gender identity or sexual orientation. Overall this group's goal is to reinforce positive feelings of self-worth and understanding and to provide education in how to cope with any negative feelings that may arise. Meetings are topic-driven, including education, support, friendship-building, skill-sharing, and more. This is a great place to make connections in a safe, affirming, and welcoming environment.
